Discover how God is Opening Doors!

Beti-ESL & Citizenship Class

Beti recently immigrated to the U.S. from Iran to be with her daughter who lived locally in Cedar Park, Texas. She began attending our ESL classes in Fall 2022 and would often walk to our class location. She also enrolled in our Citizenship prep classes where her caring instructors spend extensive time preparing her for her citizenship test while providing an encouraging and supportive learning environment. Beti took her test in the Summer of 2022!

Andrew- Plumbing Class

Andrew enrolled in our Spring 2023 Plumbing class. He worked at a Subway and also operated a small business focused on cleaning dryer vents. Andrew came to the class seeking a plumbing apprentice position. His quiet but disciplined approach to learning and and class so impressed one our instructors that he was hired immediately after the class to begin working as an apprentice plumber! You never now what doors will open when you take the first step.

Beatriz- ESL & Electrical Class

Beatriz and her husband and kids started attending out Tuesday evening ESL classes in Fall 2022 and quickly became one of most consistent students. When we launched our Electrical classes in Spring 2023, Beatriz enrolled! Her goal was to upskill, since she already worked on the assembly line of an electronics manufacturing plant. One day, she told her supervisor that she was taking a RCHS Trades class and described what was she was learning and doing. Her supervisor was so impressed that he promoted her to the robotics division. Beatriz’s story is one of a whole family being impacted by RCHS.
