Class Catalog - Fall 2025
Trades ($40)
Our trades class offers practical training in skilled trades such as plumbing, and electrical work. Students develop hands-on skills, and gain the foundational skills needed to pursue entry-level employment in their chosen trade. By the end of the class, students will feel confident in their ability to perform basic tasks and have a better understanding of their chosen trade.
Pre-Apprentice Electrical Class: Saturdays, Sep 20th- Saturday Nov 8th , 8:00 AM – 2PM
Pre-Apprentice Plumbing Class: Saturdays, Sep 20- Saturday Nov 8th , 8:00 AM – 2PM

Our ESL class provides a supportive and engaging environment for non-native English speakers to improve their language skills. In addition to developing speaking skills, the class also includes reading and writing activities to improve students' literacy skills. By the end of the class, students should feel more confident in their ability to communicate effectively in English. Choose from either Tuesday or Wednesday regular meeting times, OR SIGN UP FOR BOTH DAYS!

Citizenship Preparation Class at River City Hope Street (RCHS)
The path to U.S. citizenship can be complex and time-consuming—but you don’t have to do it alone. River City Hope Street offers a Citizenship Class designed to support Permanent Residents every step of the way.
Our Citizenship Class Helps With:
Studying for the civics, reading, and writing tests
Practicing for the oral interview
Navigating the N-400 form (Application for Naturalization)
Understanding your rights and responsibilities as a U.S. citizen
Building English language skills and cultural knowledge
Class Requirements:
Minimum English proficiency at Level 2 or higher
Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to complete the naturalization process and become an engaged, empowered U.S. citizen.
