Our uniquely designed courses include English as a Second Language (ESL) classes to improve language skills, trades classes to acquire practical skills, citizenship classes to help immigrants prepare for citizenship, and computer & career readiness classes to develop technical and professional skills.

Trades ($25)

Our trades class offers practical training in skilled trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. Students develop hands-on skills, and gain the foundational skills needed to pursue entry-level employment in their chosen trade. By the end of the class, students will feel confident in their ability to perform basic tasks and have a better understanding of their chosen trade.

ESL (Free)

Our ESL class provides a supportive and engaging environment for non-native English speakers to improve their language skills. In addition to developing speaking skills, the class also includes reading and writing activities to improve students' literacy skills. By the end of the class, students should feel more confident in their ability to communicate effectively in English.

Citizenship (Free)*

Our citizenship class helps prepare individuals for the process of becoming a citizen. The class covers topics such as English language skills, cultural norms, and civics education. With the skills learned in the class, students can successfully navigate the application process and become active, engaged citizens in their new country.

*Registration is Free but there is a $25 activity book fee.

Computer & Career Readiness (Free)

Our computer and career readiness class helps individuals develop the skills needed to succeed in the digital job market. Students learn basic computer skills, internet research, email communication, digital file management, and more. Students may have opportunities to create digital portfolios or practice mock interviews to build confidence and develop job readiness skills.

  • A citizenship class helps individuals prepare for becoming a citizen. Students learn about history, laws, and application process, as well as their rights and responsibilities.

  • A computer and career readiness class teaches basic computer skills and job search strategies. Students learn about resumes, interviews, and digital file management.
